After viewing the NUA Graduate Showcase the NCAS Committee named Anna Ward the 2020 prize-winner. The committee particularly enjoyed Anna’s work Woven Ground but also her exploration of fabrics, threads and weaving.

Special mention must also go to Grace Farman, Eleanor Marshman, Daniel Randall and Sammy Tapp who’s work was highly commended by the committee.

“Choosing an award winner is always difficult as it is impossible to compare different forms, styles and mediums in art, especially viewing online. The standard and quality of work in the NUA Graduate Showcase was as high as ever, despite the added challenges students may have had.”

Chris Mardell, NCAS Chair
