Student success in the Bradford Textile Society Design Competition 2021
The competition invites students to submit work under a variety of textile categories, such as knit, weave and print. BA (Hons) Textile Design students across all three years have been featured in this year’s competition results.
Recent graduate Molly J Brown wins first prize in the ‘Prestigious Textiles’ category. This category asked students to submit a design for curtains, cushions, upholstery and blinds in a repeat pattern.
Molly’s also commended in ‘The CIWMT’ category, looking at designs for children’s fashion and interiors.
Molly wins a week-long placement in the Prestigious Textiles Ltd studios and a £500 cash prize.
You can discover more of Molly’s work on the Norwich University of the Arts Graduate Showcase 2021.
