I have a BA in Film & English studios from UEA, where I first made programmes for Nexus UTV, winning the best comedy category at the National Student Television awards in 2005. Having worked as a runner for several Norwich production companies whist studying I joined Imago Productions full time in 2006 as a production assistant working on a variety of factual entertainment programmes for the BBC, C4, ITV and Discovery, working my way up from Production Co-ordinator, Junior Editor, location sound recordist to assistant producer.
In 2009 I became a freelance videographer and worked part time at The Royal Academy of Music where I set up filming and editing facilities for student use. In 2010 I joined the marketing team at City College Norwich as a multimedia developer & editor, creating promotional videos, learning resources and an interactive prospectus. From there I joined the technical team here, getting stuck in with the development of the Sir John Hurt Film studio and continuing to drive our production provision forward. I’m looking forward to the introduction of virtual production facilities to continue to keep at the forefront of production techniques. I enjoy working closely with the students to bring their ideas to life.
