Student Finance England
We encourage you to apply for your 2024/25 student finance as soon as possible.
Tuition fee loans are paid directly to the university, and the maintenance loan is paid directly into your bank account in three termly instalments across the year — usually September, January, and April.
If you haven’t done so already, we would encourage you to apply for your student finance and to also make sure that your student finance is income assessed.
This is usually based on your household income, or a spouse/partner’s income. If your household income is below a certain amount then you may be entitled to more loan.
You will be able to check your gov.uk account for any outstanding tasks that you need to action.
Additionally, if there is a change in your circumstances such as a drop in household income, then it is important that you let Student Finance know as soon as possible as your loan amount may increase.
Our dedicated and friendly Student Funding and Advice team are here to help and support you. If you have any questions about your student finance then get in touch: student.finance@norwichuni.ac.uk
