Scott Rozier

Scott is a Lecturer on our Graphic Communications course.

He started his teaching career over two decades ago as a part time lecturer on Year One Graphics. Scott has been a practicing graphic designer in London and Norwich for nearly 30 years. For more than 20 years he was Creative Director at a local Norwich design agency. He has worked with a vast array of clients including the Royal Family, created branding for the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund. Scott brings his decades of industry experience with him to inspire the next generation of designers.

My approach to teaching is to inspire and delight and instil some of the love and passion I have for design and the design industry. To help students be better, do better and achieve great things, to celebrate their creativity and nurture it to help them carve a career in the creative industries.

Over the decades I been lucky enough to win a national advertising award for my work with The Imperial War Museum, Duxford and multiple Retail Industry awards for my work with Chantry Place Shopping Centre, Norwich. I am fortunate to have achieved so much and had the most rewarding career as a designer, I want to use this love and passion to steer my teaching and give back to the students. So, if they can love it even half as much as I do, then I know they’re going to have a great and rewarding career/life. Throughout the years I have been involved in the delivery of courses and workshops, including Visual Identity, Packaging, Advertising, Info Graphics, Editorial, Motion Graphics and more. I have created and delivered lectures on Branding, logo design and advertising. I love doing workshops with students because of the fast-paced nature of setting a brief and coming up with ideas in a limited time frame, like the fast-paced world of industry. It’s so rewarding to challenge and expand students’ thinking and help them grow and develop, not just as designers, but as people.
