Our Business and Employability team offers expert advice to help you explore your career options, whether you have definite or very few ideas about what you want to do.

We’ll help you identify your goals and take the first steps towards achieving them.

One-to-one advice

Sessions with an Adviser are available throughout the year and as long as you need them after graduation. Your adviser can:

  • Help with career planning and guidance
  • Assess what skills you already have and the skills you need to develop to achieve your goals
  • Support you with job applications and interview preparation
  • Offer advice about setting up a business, freelancing and working for yourself.

Online resources

Through our Virtual Learning Environment, you’ll have 24/7 access to a wide range of online resources to support your career development, including:

  • Understanding your unique employability
  • Job search strategies
  • Application support
  • Career planning and goal setting
  • Workplace support
  • Business start-up, freelancing and self-employment

When you graduate, we don’t wave bye-bye and forget about you. After university, our Business and Employability team will continue to support you throughout your career with lifetime access to our online career’s platform Profile, where you will find graduate jobs and freelance opportunities.
