Scholarship Overview
Norwich University of the Arts is offering a £1000 Award for students enrolling in one of our newly introduced undergraduate courses for the 2025/26 academic year. This scholarship aims to encourage talented students to pursue a their education by providing financial assistance during their first year of study. The Award is based on specific eligibility criteria based on your year of entry.
Eligible Courses
This scholarship applies exclusively to the following new undergraduate courses launched in 2025/26:
- BA Business Management
- BSc Computer Science
- BA Esports
- BA Electronic Music & Sound
- BA Marketing
- BSc Psychology
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the £1000 award, students must meet the following conditions:
- Be classified as a Home Fee status student (UK students and Irish nationals residing in the UK or Ireland).
- Achieve or exceed the typical course-specific entry requirements at Level 2 or Level 3. This includes obtaining BBC or higher (or equivalent) in A-Levels. Points will be calculated based on the top three qualifications, with evidence of results provided via UCAS or original qualification certificates.
- If a student receives an unconditional offer, they must still meet the entry requirements to qualify. This scholarship is not available to students who secure their place through Clearing.
- If a student is offered a place with entry requirements lower than the published criteria, eligibility for the scholarship will be subject to a case-by-case review by the Admissions Team.
- Choose Norwich University of the Arts as their firm UCAS choice for a newly launched undergraduate course beginning in 2025/26.
- Be paying the full undergraduate tuition fee (i.e., not sponsored or receiving a fee reduction).
- Be enrolled and in attendance at Norwich University of the Arts when the scholarship is disbursed.
- If you defer your place of study (postpone entry) you will not be eligible
- Currently registered students at Norwich University of the Arts or students transferring from another UK higher education institution are not eligible.
How to Apply
There is no separate application process. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will automatically be considered and notified after you have accepted your offer upon.
Terms & Conditions
Entry Requirements and Procedure
- Scholarship awards are subject to meeting Norwich’s academic entry requirements and compliance with university regulations.
- Eligible students must have received an official offer from Norwich and selected Norwich as their firm choice via UCAS or directly accepted a place.
Application Process
- Students do not need to submit a separate scholarship application.
- Eligible students will receive formal notification from the Admissions Team.
Payment of Award
- If you commence studies in September 2025, the £1000 award will be disbursed in two equal instalments at the end of: December 2025 and March 2026.
- Payments will be made via BACS and we would need to request bank details at the appropriate time. You must be registered as a student at Norwich on the instalment dates to receive the payment.
- This scholarship cannot be combined with other university scholarships but may be held alongside a university bursary.
- If you defer your place (postpone entry) at the admissions stage you would forfeit the scholarship.
Appeals and Special Considerations
- If a student believes their circumstances warrant special consideration, they must contact the university via email at studentrecruitment@norwichuni.ac.uk.
- Appeals will be assessed under the Student Complaint Procedure.
