Join us for a free screen printing workshop with East Gallery Fellow, Marilou Chagnaud.
Book your place for an experimental print workshop with artist, Marilou Chagnaud.
These practical sessions explore the themes presented in Marilou’s exhibition at East Gallery, The Sea, the Ghost and The Kite Maker, calling on the shapes, colours and textures of the coast, using a screen-printing process. Prints produced will be yours to take home.
Please note this is a practical activity using screen-printing machines that will require participants to be standing throughout the session and a level of physical exertion. Aprons will be available but please wear closed footwear and comfortable clothing suitable for a messy activity.
The workshops are free but booking is required, as spaces are limited to four participants per session.
Meet at East Gallery for a short introduction to the exhibition at 1.30pm. Participants will then be guided to the Norwich University of the Arts print studio for the workshop.
Session 1: Wednesday 30 July, 1:30-4:30pm
Session 2: Thursday 31 July, 1:30-4:30pm
