We welcome international students already in the UK to study with us at Norwich.
On this page, you’ll find important information for international students already in the UK, which we hope will be useful when you’re considering studying with us at Norwich University of the Arts.
Academic requirements
Undergraduate courses
As well as A-Levels and IB[, we accept many common international qualifications for undergraduate entry. For more information, please visit our academic requirements page.
Advanced entry
If you have undertaken university-level study or hold an RQF Level 4 Diploma or equivalent, for example Advanced Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Associate Degree, you may be eligible for advanced entry into Year 2.
This will depend on your academic qualification and your portfolio of creative work. You must indicate on your application that you are applying for advanced entry and provide certificates attesting to your previous study.

Postgraduate courses
Applicants for postgraduate study should achieve a BA (Hons) or BSc Degree with a 2:1 or equivalent (between 60-70% depending on the country) for entry into our postgraduate programmes.

If you are taking English (Language or Literature) at A-Level or GCSE in the UK, whilst under the age of 18, and achieve a grade C or above, we will accept this as proof of your English language proficiency.
We also accept a wide range of UKVI approved Secure English Language Tests and other approved qualifications. For more information, please visit our English language requirements page.

International fees and scholarships
We offer a range of scholarships designed to support talented international students in pursuing their creative ambitions.
Our scholarships range from £1,500 to £10,000. They recognise academic excellence, creative potential and your commitment to joining our vibrant artistic community. These opportunities are designed to make studying with us more accessible and rewarding.

We regularly host Open Days and Applicant Days throughout the year. For students joining our Undergraduate Open Day, you may be eligible to apply for a travel bursary, to support you with travel costs up to £75.
