Textile Print & Dye Workshop

Long print tables with repeat furniture for screen printing fabric lengths, a large selection of screen printing frames, heat presses, Mimaki Tx300-P digital fabric printer, Epson SC-F6200 sublimation printer, dye kitchen with steaming and washing facilities are included in the resources available here.

The workshop is fully equipped for students to use a wide variety of textile print and dye processes including:screen printing, repeat printing, hand painting, dyeing, resist processes, Devore, Discharge, natural dyeing, heat transfer printing, foil and flock, and is fully stocked with a comprehensive range of textiles inks and dyes.

This area also provides a materials purchasing provision selling a range of specialist textile fabrics, yarns, fibres, drafting film, various printing foils and flock paper. This is available to all students from across the University and is open on a daily basis.

Our St Georges Building is home to our Munnings Drawing Studio, printmaking and photomedia, screenprinting, etching, relief and monoprint, constructed textiles and life drawing studios. Our Student Enquiries team is located on the ground floor opposite the student space area.
