Boardman House is dominated by a high ceiling with feature skylights and a central bespoke staircase. Original features from the original design of the building’s original architect Edward Boardman combine with contemporary updates to provide an inspirational environment for students.

In April 2016, the building was awarded a RIBA East Award from the Royal Institute of British Architects for its restoration from a Victorian era Sunday School to Norwich University of the Arts’ learning space.
