You report, we support
The You Report, We Support webform is for reporting an incident of sexual misconduct, harassment, bullying or hate crime to the University.
The form is for anyone who has experienced or witnessed an unacceptable event or behaviour including, but not limited to, sexual violence or other sexual misconduct, stalking, racism, homophobia, or other forms of harassment, including online. Your report will be sent to a trained member of the Student Support team who will respond according to the information you provide.
Make a report (opens in a new window)You can report something that has happened to you, or to someone else, and you can choose to report anonymously if you wish. If you choose to report anonymously the University will be limited to how much we can do, however this information is still crucial to understand trends in behaviour and to help manage risk to the overall University community.
If you do not report anonymously, you will be contacted as soon as the team are able to get back to you, and within a maximum of 2 working days. Your Advisor will be able to help you decide on any further steps you would like to take and will be available to support you throughout.
However you choose to report, if you are over 18, your disclosure will not automatically be sent to the police or go to formal University investigation unless you instruct us to do so. We can talk to you about your options and what next steps might entail.
Any information you provide will be treated confidentially and you will be believed.
