Now in its 101st year, the ADC award is the oldest running industry award show globally, celebrating outstanding talent across design, advertising, digital media, photography and illustration. Judged by a prestigious global panel, winners are honoured with the iconic ADC cube, one of the most respected awards within the creative industry.
Shortlisted in this year’s awards, BA (Hons) Illustration graduate and conceptual illustrator Ollie Hirst has been celebrated for his work featured on a series of covers for The Lancet medical journal. The 2021 issue, which focused on infectious diseases, documented some of the world’s most breakthrough research in biological science, virology and medicine.
With an extensive portfolio working with a range of journals and magazines, including the New Scientist, Harvard Business Review and The Times; Ollie has seen incredible success since graduating, being shortlisted in the 2020 World illustration awards and most recently receiving the Silver Medal at the 2022 World Brand Design Society Awards.
This year’s ADC 101st Annual Awards will take place on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, in New York, USA.
