Gold for Norwich in the Teaching Excellence Framework

The independent TEF panel have identified teaching, learning, and outcomes for students at Norwich as being consistently outstanding. The panel also judged both the student experience and the student outcomes to be ‘Gold’.

The TEF uses evidence from a set of measures that focus on student satisfaction, retention rates and graduate employment, as well as a written submission from the University to decide on the level of award.

Professor Simon Ofield Kerr, Vice-Chancellor of the University, said:

The Gold award is testament to the strength and depth of teaching and learning across our University, to the hard work and dedication of our staff, and most importantly to the commitment of our students to their creativity.
