Immersive Visualisation and Simulation Lab (IVSL)
The lab currently supports funded work exploring climate futures, virtual heritage, spatial computing, applied games, leading-edge approaches to virtual production and practice-based technology innovation for cultural organisations.
The Interactive Visualisation and Simulation Lab (IVSL) has been funded through the UKRI | AHRC Creative Research Capabilities (CResCa) world-class labs scheme.
The IVSL features:
- 4D Holysys Volumetric Capture System
- 10m x 4m 360 degree LED volume with immersive sound
- Programmable AI for audience interaction
- Extensive Disguise-based Virtual Production Studio
