In conversation with alumni Ella Glendining
Ella tells us about her film ‘Is There Anybody Out There?’, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival.
Ella graduated from BA (Hons) Film and Moving Image Production in 2017, and has since become an acclaimed writer and director. After graduating she produced and directed a string of short films, working with institutions like Channel 4 and the British Film Institute. Her first feature, ‘Is There Anybody Out There?’, is being shown at festivals across the world. Ella tells us more about the film, her experience at Sundance and what she’s up to next.
“The film was received so well by the disabled community, which is just amazing and beyond a dream come true. I really feel like I’ve made the film I needed to make and that it’s resonating with the people I made it for.”
