Success for Norwich Graduates at Royal Television Society East Student Awards

Norwich University of the Arts graduate Henry Schwind has won the Royal Television Society (RTS) East Student Award for Craft – Camerawork.

The award recognises Henry’s contribution to the film After Image, produced as part of his work on the BA (Hons) Film and Moving Image Production course.

The film was also nominated in the Drama and Craft – Sound categories. Fellow Norwich graduates Nathan Roaf, Sydney Lane-Ryer, Ewan Smirk, Josh Ambrose and Arend Phillips also worked on the film.

Films produced by students at Norwich University of the Arts received a total of nine nominations across seven award categories. This reflects the work of over twenty Norwich graduates from both BA (Hons) Film and Moving Image Production and BA (Hons) Animation.

The RTS East Student Awards celebrate the best audiovisual work created by students across the eastern region.

Recognition from the society is a respected industry accolade, that can lead to opportunities for young filmmakers taking their first steps in their career.
