Norwich University of the Arts showcases institutional and research achievements to Research England
Norwich University of the Arts was delighted to welcome representatives from Research England for a recent institutional visit.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to share key developments across the University’s research, knowledge exchange and strategic priorities. Conversations highlighted major initiatives, including our ambitions for our Bank Plain building and the continued evolution of our civic engagement strategy.
We were pleased to host Kim Seth, Head of Engagement, and Kim Hackett, Director of Insight and Engagement at Research England, at our Havers Road site. The facility is home to our Immersive Visualisation and Simulation Lab and cutting-edge Virtual Production Studio, which opened last year.
During the visit, professors, early career researchers, institute directors, technical specialists and research associates outlined plans and progress in several areas, including:
- developing cross-council funded research
- our new Arts and Humanities Research Council-funded infrastructure
- growing our industry partnerships
Professor Ben Stopher, Vice-Chancellor of Norwich University of the Arts said:
“‘It was a pleasure to welcome colleagues from Research England to Norwich. This visit comes at an exciting moment for the University, with new research infrastructure, expanding partnerships and major strategic developments ahead. We were proud to showcase the strength of our creative research environment and our growing contribution to innovation, skills and regional development.”
