Double Negative expert gives masterclass in 3D VFX

A two-day visit to NUA by Double Negative’s Jahirul Amin in May will give BA (Hons) VFX students a practical masterclass in 3D VFX.

Jahirul’s recent work includes Avengers: Infinity War, Pacific Rim Uprising, Annihilation and Black Panther.

And when Double Negative needs to tool up for a project, Jahirul is on hand as trainer and consultant specialising in designing and delivering courses in all 3D related departments across a number of facilities worldwide.

He’s also the author of the “Beginner’s Guide to Character Creation in Maya” (2015) and numerous Maya and ZBrush articles in 3D World and 3D Artist magazine.

Jahirul will be share his experience and give a masterclass covering: an introduction to anatomy, digital sculpting in ZBrush or Mudbox, retopology in Maya, and how to finalise an asset for Rigging and Look Development.

Jahirul will give his masterclass on 22 & 23 May 2018.
