Film and Moving Image Production students working with Norwich charity

A trio of international BA (Hons) Film and Moving Image Production students have collaborated to produce films for Norwich’s The Hamlet charity.

The Hamlet is a Norwich charity supporting over 500 families living with disabilities and complex needs, and the teams work with babies, children and young adults.

Having just finished Year 2 of their studies, students Vaineta Keraityte, Edward Heredia and Bram Kwantes seized the opportunity to work with The Hamlet across the summer of 2019, crafting a film aimed at highlighting the impact of the charity’s work with preschool-aged children. The film focuses on Noah, and how the charity works as an extended family for both the children and adults that attend their services and their respective families.

“This experience has been very positive because knowing that there are opportunities of practising our craft with local charities and businesses, whilst we develop our studies, has really given us an insight into our possible future pathways and a future network of collaborators.”

The Hamlet was so pleased with the case study that they’ve asked Vaineta, Edward and Bram to return to work with them on a new autumn campaign, due to film on 10 November and to launch on 1 December.
