Graduate commissioned by Virgin to complete mural at Gatwick Airport

BA (Hons) Textile Design graduate, Ali Cottrell has completed a commission from Virgin Holidays for a space at Gatwick Airport. Whilst exhibiting her degree show work at New Designers 2016 in London, Ali was offered the commission, to provide imagery to fit an 11-metre wall in their new ‘v-room’, a private lounge space at the airport. Matthew Davies, a Senior Designer at Virgin Atlantic said, ‘Ali’s work is a perfect blend of interesting details, flashes of colour, and references to our destinations.’
