Hannah Goldsmith, BA Design for Publishing, wins the QEPrize 2021 Trophy Design Competition
The Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering opens the trophy design brief to creatives across the UK every year.
Second year BA (Hons) Design for Publishing student, Hannah Goldsmith, has won the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering‘s annual trophy design competition.
Hannah was also shortlisted for the trophy design prize in 2019. She is the first person ever to be shortlisted in two separate competition years.
“The concept for the trophy revolves around circuit boards,” said Hannah. “It’s really satisfying as the engineering winners that take my trophy home are people who made LED lighting what it is today.”
His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales presented the trophy at an awards ceremony held in St James Palace, which Hannah attended.
Hannah won an iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard, which she has been using to help her studies.
Well-done, Hannah!
