International Scholarship Award Winners 2019-20

Congratulations to students from the US, Saudi Arabia, Norway, Hong Kong, South Korea and Malaysia who have been supported by our annual international scholarship award.

Seven students, including one MA student, were awarded international scholarship awards for 2019-2020. These scholarships were awarded on the basis of academic merit to students who demonstrated a standard of excellence at their interview with their current portfolio of work, as well as their creative potential and enthusiasm for their chosen course of study.

All scholarships were awarded against tuition fees, which make a significant contribution to the cost for international students studying in the UK:

• The Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship (£3,500) awarded to Reem Baaghil – BA (Hons) Architecture
• Undergraduate Student Scholarships (each £2,000) awarded to Tiril Schjerven – BA (Hons) Games Art & Design and Ardra Nair – BA (Hons) Fine Art
• Asia Scholarships (each £2,000) awarded to Mi Na Kim – BA (Hons) Interior Design and Yan Ni Ho – BA (Hons) Fine Art
• North America Scholarship (£2,000) awarded to Amber Conte – BA (Hons) Design for Publishing
• The Postgraduate Student Scholarship (£1,500) awarded to Ummi Junid – MA Textile Design
