Lily West, BA Graphic Communication, places second in Dragon Rouge Firestarter competition
Third year BA (Hons) Graphic Communication student Lily has come second in the annual Dragon Rouge Firestarter competition
Lily came second in the annual Dragon Rouge Firestarter competition for her project ‘Mooch’, a digital platform aiming to recreate the experience of browsing a bookstore.
To create Mooch, Lily explores and utilises friendly branding, user experience, motion and illustration.
To help users discover their next book, Lily created ‘Paige’, an AI chatbot that converses with users in a friendly way.
The Mooch website concept allows users to browse digital bookshelves, with suggested books highlighted in red. Additionally, visitors can interact with books in the same way they would be picking them up in store, using 360 degree rotation.
Congratulations, Lily!
