MA Textile Design graduate selected for Crafts Council Hothouse 2020
MA Textile Design graduate Lizzie Kimbley has been selected for the Crafts Council Hothouse 2020 programme.
Hothouse is the Crafts Council’s creative business development programme for up-and-coming makers. Lizzie is one of 26 maker businesses selected for 2020’s Hothouse, and will take part in a series of workshops designed to help cultivate creativity as well as business know-how.
Lizzie specialises in weave and completed her BA (Hons) Textile Design and MA Textile Design at Norwich University of the Arts.
She works with natural materials, found objects or waste products from other design processes. Concerned with the life cycle of materials, she designs textiles that can be recycled or will biodegrade so that no waste is left behind.
You can see more of Lizzie’s work on her Instagram or website.
