Artist-led exhibition tour

12.30pm – 1.30pm Wednesday 23 April 2025

East Gallery, St Andrews St, Norwich NR2 4AE

Join artist Arieh Frosh for a tour of The New Scroby Sands Offshore Wind Farm Information Centre, exploring the process of making the show from concept to presentation.

In 2023, Arieh Frosh and Ed Compson were appointed under the East Gallery Fellowship programme and began an 18-month period of research looking at the North Sea, Doggerland and wind energy. The resulting exhibition, The New Scroby Sands Offshore Wind Farm Information Centre, presents a fictionalised version of the E.ON visitor centre in Great Yarmouth, that Frosh and Compson tried and failed to visit following its closure in 2024. While the exhibition is a narrative take on an information centre by the artist-duo, the presentation is very much rooted in scientific research and industry partnerships. The show features a number of 20,000-30,000 year old seabed cores, two sections of wind turbine and a floor covered with maps of the various offshore wind energy sites in the UK.

Join Arieh Frosh for a tour of the exhibition commenting on the process of making the show from concept to presentation. This tour is free to attend, but booking is required.
