Norwich shortlisted for TIGA Best Educational Institution 2024
Norwich University of the Arts has been shortlisted in two categories at the TIGA Games Industry Awards 2024.
TIGA has shortlisted Norwich in both the Educational Institution and Education Initiative categories. This status recognises Norwich as one of the outstanding institutions within the video games industry, alongside the finest of the UK’s game development, service provider and education talent. The TIGA Games Industry Awards showcase excellence in all aspects of the UK video games sector.
Norwich’s shortlisting in the Educational Institution category reflects delivery of students into graduate level jobs, strong links with industry and a track record of research and innovation in the sector. For the Education Initiative category, judges were looking for programmes that prepared students for the world of work, such as high quality game jams and industry connected projects, and a dedication to promote and support student studio start-ups.
TIGA will announce the winners of each category at an awards ceremony taking place later this year.
TIGA is the trade association that represents the UK’s video games industry. The TIGA Games Industry Awards recognises excellence in game development, business and education, celebrating the achievements of both small and large studios, plus the companies and institutions who work with them.
