MA Photography student featured in Dodho magazine
MA Photography student Jo Lauren has had her work featured in Dodho Magazine’s December 2019 edition.
Dodho Magazine is an independent international magazine that aims to promote the work and projects of emerging photographers and professionals from all over the world. Launched in April 2013, Dodho Magazine has managed to become the fastest growing photo magazine and become a benchmark among galleries, agencies and other publishers around the world.
Photographer Jo Lauren, who also completed her BA (Hons) Photography at NUA, was featured across a six-page spread in the December 2019 issue of the magazine. Jo is influenced by her surroundings on Mersea Island and her images draw together concepts of place and memory, exploring narratives which combine the imagined and the real. She is interested in investigating the relationship between photographer, sitter and viewer and place, as part of her ongoing investigation into the contingent nature of truth.
Jo’s work has been published and exhibited nationally and internationally. You can view her images on her website and Instagram.
