The BrandOpus Chrysalis Awards run yearly and are open to students across the country.

The brief set by BrandOpus was to create a drinks brand that has a functional benefit beyond the primary purpose of refreshment.

Emily, a graduate from BA (Hons) Graphic Design, created Moxi fruit teas, an iced tea drink made from brewed super ingredient Guayusa, which is native to the Kichwa tribe of the Amazonian rainforest.

The packaging is inspired by the vibrant colours and patterns of the Amazonian Kichwa clothing. The pattern on the can resembles a stitched texture to represent how the tribe hand-make their garments.

Emily won an internship with BrandOpus as a result of her success in this competition.

Keep up with Emily’s work on her Instagram.
