Network of East Anglian Art Teachers (NEAAT) meeting
Thursday 12 November 2020
4.30-5.30pm, online via Zoom
Book now (opens in a new window)NEAAT is a network of teachers of art from East Anglia working together, with support from Norwich University of the Arts, to celebrate, support and promote art in schools.
NEAAT believe the arts are special in our region and that art teachers need to be part of an empowering and enriching network of fellow educators that can support and help develop an exciting provision for students.
In such large geographical areas some teachers find themselves isolated or simply don’t have the time to meet others – NEAAT is an opportunity to support each other, share ideas and promote creativity.
All art educators are welcome from primary to higher education, state or private schools. The arts are broad and we welcome teachers of all endorsements and all creative subjects who feel they wish to share ideas and learn from others.
Schedule for Thursday 12 November
This meeting will review the new guidance from exam boards around the expectations for coursework at GCSE & A Level and how to approach the digital portfolios for those exam boards that have confirmed this expectation.
They will be sharing some of their examples and will welcome ideas and a discussion around how we can aim to support one another.
