BA Illustration graduate Ollie Hirst appointed as Cover Artist for The Lancet

Ollie, a graduate from BA (Hons) Illustration has been appointed the sole cover artist for world-leading medical journal The Lancet Infectious Diseases. 

The Lancet covers medical news, research and reviews on all aspects of clinical medicine and global health. It’s arguably the world’s most famous medical journal.

Ollie won a solo pitch to become their sole cover artist for 2021.

“This was a massive shock and a huge opportunity for me to expand on my interests in science and the human body, especially given the importance of public health lately” said Ollie.
