Kaliegh Branham joined the BA (Hons) Games Art & Design Course with a specialist focus on Concept Art in 2015. As a practicing artist and designer Kaliegh is involved with the refinement of physical spaces for the course with an aim to encourage and nurture creative practice in its many different forms. Kaliegh also liaises with industry professionals as a means of keeping her own practice and content on the course fresh, relevant, & engaging, including sourcing art tests for students to engage with more contemporary studio practices and building personal networks. Member of a triple-award-winning TIGA accredited course.
Practice
- 2025 – Big C Game Jam; 3D asset and character production, creating a game that aims to address treatment options for Cancer that is accessible and friendly for children. Provide understanding in a tactful and easily digestible manner.
- 2025 – Undisclosed Title: Concept art & asset production for upcoming title, digital conversion of a historical board game.
- 2024 – Creative Learning Spaces Redesigning student spaces to further nurture creativity and provide a broad variety of different approaches and materials to integrate into an individual’s workflow and process.
- 2019 – Women in Games; workshop on idea generation and development, as well as mindful approach to generating art.
- 2018 – Academic Boards; Speaker and panel member to the boards
- 2018 – Nurturing Creativity; acknowledging the barriers to creativity and expression and finding ways to navigate them in a safe and nurturing environment.
- 2017 – Teaching Excellence Pathway; development of teaching practices, building andragogy.
- 2019 – Completion of PGCert:HE (ADAM) To develop stronger understanding of pedagogy/andragogy, with focus on feedback and feed-forward.
- 2016 – Teacher Development & Outreach: Held sessions on creative processes used in concept art for idea generation. Photoshop technical introduction and photo-bashing workshops.
- 2015 – 2D Asset Production; Creating assets for upcoming indie projects, utilising the concept art process to create rough and polished works.
- 2014 – British Rabbit Council; Graphic design and branding for British Rabbit Council and supporting clubs.
- 2013 – Tik-Tok Toys; BAFTA winning game with fellow graduates
- 2010 – Visual Dialogues; In collaboration with Norwich Castle Museum and local Sixth form groups.
