Marie Brennan appointed to the British Council
Norwich University of the Arts’ Head of Postgraduate Taught Awards, Marie Brennan, is one of two new appointees to the British Council. She will join nine other members on the British Council’s Arts and Creative Economy Advisory Group.
Marie’s aim will be to help the British Council to meet objectives through supporting their mission to create a friendly knowledge and understanding between the people of the UK and the wider world, advising on arts strategy, identifying new developments in the arts as well as offering advice and guidance in arts and creativity.
Marie has a diverse background and prior to leading NUA’s MA courses ran Glasshouse, a creative consultancy, and worked as a culture expert for the European Union. Most recently she gave a Tedx talk at the University of East Anglia.
