Norwich University of the Arts is Education Ambassador of Women in Games
Norwich University of the Arts’ BA (Hons) Games Art and Design is proudly part of the Education Ambassador Programme of Women in Games.
Established in 2020, the Women in Games Education Ambassador Programme consists of leading educational institutions, colleges, training providers and awarding bodies aligned and engaged with the Women in Games agenda to support, empower and celebrate female talent in the games industry and esports. The programme exists to provide educational organisations committed to diverse and inclusive learning cultures with support in developing inclusive teaching environments along with access to unique opportunities to get involved with initiatives, research, events, awards and to connect directly with the growing Women in Games community. BA (Hons) Games Art and Design lecturer Sharon Tolaini-Sage is a Women in Games Advisory Board Member and Ambassador. She comments, “The programme enables our Games Art and Design course (and other games-related courses) to be part of an ‘eco-system’ of Women in Games Ambassadors – corporate organisations and individuals working in the industry, who can supply the course with invaluable insights. At the same time, it proclaims a tangible, practical commitment to the principle of equality, to prospective and actual students, and industry professionals, by supporting Women in Games’ work as a voice for women in the sector.”
