Animation Drawing Club

Join BA (Hons) Animation Senior Lecturer, Jon Dunleavy, for a free online draw-a-long running fortnightly on Thursdays, 5.00 to 6.30pm.

These sessions are free to attend and suitable for those aged 16+.

Jon will be joined by a range of special guests, including:

Dan Kelby

Dan is a Character Designer whose past clients include Netflix, Cartoon Network and Disney. Dan is a Norwich graduate and is a part-time lecturer on BA (Hons) Animation

Helen Schroeder

Helen is a storyboard artist who has worked across some of the UK’s leading animation agencies including Aardman Animations and Locksmith Animation.

Helen was a storyboard artist on Twentieth Century Studio and Locksmith Animation’s ‘Ron’s Gone Wrong’ , a feature length animation due for release in September 2021. Helen is a Norwich graduate and a part-time lecturer on BA (Hons) Animation.

Vaughan Ling

Vaughan Ling is the creator of HEAVYPAINT app and has worked in the Animation industry for 11 years. Past credits include visual development on Love, Death and Robots “The Witness” and Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse.

Other clients include Disney, Mattel and Warner Animation Group. Vaughan will give a demonstration on his HEAVYPAINT app and attendees are encouraged to try it out using a free trial or a discount code.
