East Gallery Curator Talk – Alfred Munnings

12.30-1pm, East Gallery As part of our East Gallery exhibition Revealing Munnings, join us for this free Curator talk by Dr Caroline Fisher on Alfred Munnings’ drawings.

This talk will explore Munnings’ teenage years as a commercial artist in Norwich and his growing ambitions to become a successful painter.

It will look at how he achieved this aim, from the artistic environment at Norwich School of Art where Munnings began his artistic education and the context of everyday life in Norwich in the 1890s.
