Creating Digital Art in VR
Tuesday 9 May | 6.00 – 7.30pm | On campus
Join us for an introduction to BSc (Hons) Creative Computing and BSc (Hons) Creative Technology with Course Leader, Jamie Gledhill. Jamie will give you an overview of our new courses, as well as an opportunity to get stuck in and experiment with painting and drawing in VR.
Tilt Brush took the VR world by storm when it first came out in 2016 as it makes 3D painting and drawing a joyful experience, even for those who don’t consider themselves to be artists.
Since then, a whole raft of painting, drawing and modelling tools have emerged in the VR space, many of which are being used to produce art work for emerging platforms such as the blockchain. Find out more about this phenomenal new way of creating digital art by having a go yourself.
