Norwich University of the Arts has today published its posture on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for students, setting out a starting point for ongoing discussion around one of the most significant developments affecting higher education, the creative industries and wider society.
The posture is not intended as a fixed position or definitive statement. Instead, it offers a foundation for reflection and conversation across the University community, one that is expected to evolve as AI itself continues to change.
Recognising that AI is a complex and often difficult topic, the University says the posture has been shaped by engagement with its community, including discussions with the Student Reps Group throughout the academic year, Student Rep meetings with course teams, and consultation with staff through various forums.
The University plans to return to the conversation at the start of next term, continuing to shape its approach in collaboration with staff, students and alumni. Read the full posture.
