How does teaching and learning work at Norwich?
Teaching at Norwich follows an established pattern of hybrid learning. Students enjoy a mix of in-person sessions on campus making and creating in our workshops and studios, and live-streamed online lectures and seminars and on-demand digital sessions.
We re-organised our campus last year to ensure that our studios, workshops, and library could re-open and our timetables and teaching arrangements could run in line with the Government’s health and safety guidelines about Covid-19.
Our live-streamed online digital lectures have given students access to a more diverse and global array of visiting speakers than ever before from across the creative industries.
But our creative spaces—from our fashion studios to film studio, print studios and media labs—remain the focal point for collaboration and creativity.
What steps has Norwich University of the Arts taken to make the campus as safe as possible?
There are rules in place governing visitors to the campus, and the university has used the government guidance and applied it to all campus spaces.
Furniture has been rearranged so that rooms can accommodate the maximum number of students safely.
Timetables have been arranged so students can be taught in recommended group sizes; inductions and large group teaching will be delivered digitally.
Travelling to the UK
Currently, there are no Covid-19 restrictions in place for entering the UK. However, please remember to check any guidance on departing from your home country and any regulations for countries you may transit through on your way to the UK.

COVID-19 vaccinations
International students in the UK are eligible for Covid-19 vaccinations for free, regardless of their nationality or immigration status.
In order to book a Covid-19 vaccine, international students should register with a local GP (General Practitioner) and get an NHS number. You can also request to book your Covid-19 vaccination appointment as an unregistered patient through a local GP practice.
