East Gallery

East Gallery is a city centre public art space showcasing a programme of exhibitions by internationally recognised artists, curators, and design practitioners

Exhibitions are originated by Norwich University of the Arts or in collaboration with national and international partners. All our exhibitions are accompanied by seminars and lectures delivered by specialists and curators, which enrich the University experience for students and those living and working in Norwich, as well as visitors to our city.

This summer East Gallery is launching East Projects, a new series of exhibitions, performances and events that showcase current research from Norwich University of the Arts in the disciplines of Fine Art, Film, Photography, Design and Gaming.

The East Gallery venue and programme is funded by Norwich University of the Arts.

Opening times:

Tuesday – Friday 12–5pm
Saturday 12–4pm

14 March – 7 June 2025 with a short break over Easter.

Arieh Frosh and Ed Compson are independent artists who work collaboratively on socially engaged, technologically-driven projects.

The New Scroby Sands Offshore Wind Farm Information Centre is a research-led visual arts exhibition that looks at the relationship between offshore wind energy and Doggerland, the submerged landmass that used to connect the UK to mainland Europe.
