Emily is the evening and Saturday technician in the Design Studio. As a member of this team Emily supports students from all courses with various printing and finishing techniques including A4 & A3 printing, foiling, file preparation for large format printing, booklet printing and binding. In addition to this Emily assists students with using the Adobe Suite.

Having graduated with a BA in Illustration from Norwich University of the Arts in 2019 I am excited to return as a technician. Since 2019, I have worked as a freelance illustrator and animator as well as working various roles in gallery spaces.

Within my freelance practice I have worked on editorial pieces, animations, social media posts and workshop teaching. I particularly enjoy exploring animating my work whether its longer animation pieces or short looping gifs. Clients I have worked for include Heritage Open Days and Essex Country Council. Occasionally I have exhibited work including a character flag design being displayed at Pictoplasma Berlin 2021.

My specialism within my own practice is digital 3D using Blender, additionally I frequently use Adobe software such as Photoshop and After Effects and I am proficient in InDesign and Illustrator. I enjoy using skills from my practice to help students create outcomes for their ideas.
