Hannah Goldfinch

Hannah is a technician specialised in supporting learners with their digital 3D, helping to create assets for a number of media destinations. This includes 3D rendering, asset design, retopology, UV-unwrapping, and materials. She provides introductory and intermediate workshops, as well as ongoing technical assistance to both students and staff

I achieved my BA (Hons) in Games Art & Design in 2018 from Norwich University of the Arts, and I’m delighted to return to support others in their creative journeys. I taught as a Games Lecturer and 3D specialist at a local college, and have several years’ experience working freelance, providing both 2D and 3D assets to a number of private clients. In addition, I’ve been fortunate enough to provide lead game writing and supplementary writing for several RPG works by publisher Cubicle 7, including Doctor Who: The Roleplaying Game.

My specialism is in game design and multiple digital programs, including Zbrush, Maya, Adobe Photoshop, and Substance Painter. I have a passion for achieving excellent design and topology outcomes, and I enjoy offering students insight on optimising their workflows. One thing that really excites me is the merging of physical and digital spaces, through narrative, execution, and application, and I hope to instil that same enthusiasm in others. You’re most likely to find me in St Andrew’s Tech Support, on the first floor – don’t be afraid to come and say hello!
