Having a background in Art Direction from initial design concepts to, photography through to printed publications and design solutions gives me a rounded experience and informed perspective with the vision to help students achieve their aims within this area of study. Creative thinking is what I do best and am passionate about creativity, problem solving and design. I continue to explore and find new and innovative design inspiration through other practitioners, designers and leading agencies, which underpins what I teach and design myself.
I absolutely love teaching and enjoy imparting my knowledge to students. Helping them to realise their capabilities, see them become much more confident and grow as designers is what continues to inspire me. The Integrated Foundation Year can be challenging, but by continuing to create a learning environment that encourages students to gain skills to take forward into their future studies and industry is my most important aim and a rewarding one for all.
