Will Hurt
Since joining Norwich as a Games Development Technician, Will has been a point of contact for students across the University interested in incorporating code into their projects, while delivering technical instruction to students on the Games Development, Creative Computing and User Experience courses. He has played an instrumental role in the design and delivery of the Creative Tech Lab and World Class Immersive Visualisation Studio, recently taking on the position of Workshop Manager – Computational Arts.
I’m a Visual Artist and Creative Technologist combining abstraction, technology and play to investigate the margins of physical and virtual spaces.
Since graduating from the Slade School of Fine Art I’ve gained 15 years’ experience working with organisations across the world, delivering stimulating, immersive experiences, ranging from mobile apps to large-scale gallery installations, music videos to computer-controlled drawings.
Recent clients include: National Gallery, British Council, Tate, Wellcome Collection, Nottingham Contemporary, Studio Wayne McGregor, Floating Points, Near Now, Lumen Prize, Christopher Samuel, Collusion, Fak’ugesi Festival and QUAD.
