Student awarded second place for United Nations Trust Orange Label competition
BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion Year 2 student Sophie Chittock has received second place in the Journalism category of the UN Trust Orange Label Project Student Competition. The Orange Label project is a collaboration between London College of Fashion and the UN Trust Fund (UNTF) to support their campaign to End Violence against Women. To mark the 20th anniversary of this campaign, UNTF created a series of creative projects and competitions aimed to engage the issue of violence against women with new audiences, particularly young people. Sophie’s winning editorial work (pictured) explores the statistic that 1 in 3 women experience physical or sexual violence at some point in their lifetime.
