Students win at BFI Future film festival

BA (Hons) Film and Moving Image students Ella Glendining and Florence Watson received an award at the BFI Future Film Festival for their submission ‘Power to the Mini Beasts’. The submission took first place in the Best Original Submission category, beating 1400 entries including international and MA level submissions. In 2014 Florence was one of 20 students to be awarded a Television Production Bursary by the RTS to help her with her TV studies. She used some of the money she received from the scheme to buy a camera which she used to make the winning film.
