BA (Hons) Architecture student, Jacob Cherry, has been awarded the Feilden+Mawson Scholarship for Architecture in association with local Architecture firm, Feilden+Mawson.
As part of the selection process, five shortlisted candidates were required to present a portfolio of work to the judging panel which consisted of Philip Bodie (F+M Partner) and James Benedict Brown (acting Architecture Course Leader).
“Jacob’s scheme was a nice take on the ‘twisty’ bridge. It was well presented and abstract enough to act as an interesting piece of rural sculpture.”
Philip Bodie
Jacob’s presentation greatly impressed the judging panel, whose decision was endorsed even further by a vote in the Feilden+Mawson studios. He was awarded £1000 plus a summer internship with the firm.
