Here, You're a Name not a Number

At Norwich, you’re a valued member of a community where the lecturers know your name. This is a place where everyone matters. A place for all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. It’s no coincidence that “community” is the word most of our students use to describe Norwich. From day one, you’ll meet new friends and discover new experiences.

Project based practical learning

Our students tackle real-world problems through hands-on, practical projects. Working in teams or individually, students identify challenges, design solutions and refine their work through feedback. This method builds critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills but also provides deeper subject understanding and practical knowledge helping you to excel in the workplace with confidence and creativity.

Assessment-based Learning

At Norwich University of the Arts, we are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment that embraces diverse learning styles. That’s why all our courses are 100% assessment-based, with no formal exams. Instead, we use alternative assessment methods such as essays, presentations, and practical projects, allowing you to showcase your skills and knowledge in ways that best suit you.
