How do I get to the university?

You can find us on Duke Street, Norwich, NR3 3AS.

Norwich is one of the greenest communities in the country and to help us keep up the good work, why not consider an alternative mode of transport?

By Train

A great way of getting here is by train and Norwich is well linked to make a trip to us a carefree affair – and we’re only a 10 minute walk from the station.

Norwich Station to Duke Street

If you are arriving at Norwich Train Station, please don’t get the 25|26 bus reading ‘University’. This goes to the University of East Anglia, not Norwich University of the Arts.

By Bus

The closest bus stops for local buses are Castle Meadow and Magdalen Street.

By coach

Most National Express coaches arrive at Norwich Bus Station. From there it is a short 10 minute walk to our campus.

Park and Ride

There are 5 Park & Ride options available at every corner of the city, making it much easier for you to hop on a bus into the city centre – and we’re only a ten minute walk from there!

Do you have parking on campus?

There are many city centre car parks in Norwich

As we are a city centre campus, we don’t have on campus parking. But there is plenty of parking in the city centre only a few minutes’ walk away.

St Andrews car park on Duke Street gets busy from 12pm onward so we would advise exploring other options if you are arriving after that time.

Will I meet current students?

Yes you’ll be able to meet current students studying at Norwich.

They’ll be able to answer questions you might have about courses, life in Norwich and being part of our community, plus much more about the student experience.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes of course, but we would ask that you consider only bringing one guest with you as otherwise the talks can get quite busy.

During particularly busy events, we may ask that only one guest joins you in each of your talks.

Myself or my guest have a disability or additional access needs, what should I do?

When booking your place, you can specify any additional access or support needs you or your guest(s) may need.

We will reach out to you to discuss any details to ensure we can support you. This information is automatically deleted after the event as part of our privacy policy. Please let us know when you book each event if you have any requirements.

Alternatively, you can email us at studentrecruitment@norwichuni.ac.uk if you wish to discuss anything further.

Can I have a quieter tour on the day?

If you would rather avoid the larger tour groups during the event, then we would be happy to arrange an ambassador to tour you around privately. Please let us know in advance of the event and we can help you further.

Please let us know over email us at studentrecruitment@norwichuni.ac.uk.

Is there any financial support available for me to visit an Open Day?

Yes, we have a Travel Bursary that could help toward your travel costs.

What if I miss my tour?

Don’t worry, we can link you up with a current student who can give you some more information and, if we have a student available, they will give you a personal tour on the day.

What if I can no longer make the event?

That’s not a problem, you can join us for one of our other upcoming events when you’re ready.

You can book your place on another Open Day

Can I bring my dog to the event?

Assistance and support dogs can accompany you during your visit.
