Having opened in 2021, Duke Street Riverside residences are located on the upper floors of the university’s new lecture theatre and state-of-the-art teaching facilities in the centre of Norwich.
The 100 en suite bedrooms are arranged in groups of either 10 or 11 flats sharing a communal kitchen area. Each bedroom has a bed, desk, storage and private shower-room and toilet. A number of rooms are designed to be accessible for students with mobility difficulties. All Duke Street Riverside rooms are designed for single students.
Wi-Fi is provided throughout the building, a communal reading room for group study, and a shared laundry room for students.
No parking is available at Duke Street Riverside due to the on-campus, city centre location of the building.
Duke Street Riverside complies with the Universities UK/Guild HE Code of Practice for the Management of Student Housing.
Accommodation is guaranteed to all new undergraduate students that have Norwich as their firm choice with UCAS and apply for a room before our priority deadline, which will be advised when applications open. We will try to help applicants that apply after this date but can only guarantee accommodation to those that meet this deadline.
New undergraduate students that hold a conditional or unconditional firm offer to study with us will have an opportunity to apply. You can register for our student accommodation through our exclusive portal when you confirm acceptance at Norwich. You will be emailed a link to the portal once you have accepted your place.
